About Lorin
Lorin’s first sounds came to life with a laptop on his lap in a hospital bed. What started there has since grown into electronic music made to be danced to, written from life lessons, personal struggles and emotions that are current and real.
Lorin, whose real name is Bart Jan van de Veerdonk, was born in ’s-Hertogenbosch in the Netherlands (22-12-2000).
He writes about daily thoughts, existential conflicts and the things that happen in life as they come, sung by himself and others. His latest album ‘Resolutions’ is an emotionally charged blend of electronic music and autobiographical songwriting.
Influenced by artists such as Fred Again, Moby and Barry Can’t Swim, Lorin continues to experiment with various genres on his never-ending musical journey. In every tune, he tries to bring a deeper message in a hopeful form.
